The 2023 Honda Odyssey uses an Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ body structure to reduce crash energy absorption and help disperse it away from the vehicle’s passenger compartment. The new Honda Odyssey is equipped with HondaSensing, a suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies that includes a Collision Mitigation Braking System which helps you avoid or reduce the severity of a collision with a vehicle detected in front of you. It also features Lane Keeping Assist System, which helps to keep your vehicle centered in its lane, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, which helps maintain a set following interval behind a detected vehicle for highway cruising.
The all-new Honda Odyssey is also equipped with smartVent® front side airbags that deploy outward to help protect drivers and passengers in certain impacts. SmartVent® helps increase protection for the driver and passenger’s chest, hips, and pelvis by deploying outwards from the seatback rather than towards the occupant.
The Honda Odyssey also features Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control, which can help you stay in control of your vehicle by helping to reduce torque and brake individually when it senses oversteer or understeer.
